Triad Hospitals, Inc. and WISEware converted the delivery of Triad's collection reports to the
WISEcap® web application in the spring of 2006.
Today, hundreds of users–personnel from Triad's corporate office, each of their 54 hospitals and 30 of their reporting
collection agencies–log into WISEware's customer web each month to compare collection agency performance across
Triad's facilities nationwide.
Toni Hatch, Senior Director, Business Office Services for Triad, said, "the WISEcap tool has provided us
with a method to consitently aggregate and report vendor/agency performance data. The data is timely, posted in a single location for all
users, and accessible via a web link."
According to Ms. Hatch, the real benefit to Triad has been "the ability to more adequately evaluate vendor/agency performance and
opportunities for imporved performance for each Triad facility thru defined key indicators, over a defined period of
time, dollar staratifications and other valuable sorts." Additionally, WISEcap allows Triad to "monitor facility placements and
adherence to standards of performance that allows our vendor/agencies to be more successful for us, the customer."
Each month, collection agencies prepare a data extract from their own system that contains information from the prior month’s activity. WISEware combines those extracts and produces an apples–to–apples comparison of placements, recoveries, recalled and cancelled accounts, and bad data.
WISEcap report formats allow Triad and agency users to compare agency and hospital performance side–by–side. The database contains a rolling 13 months of data to show performance over time.
